- Le Meridien Cyber Port, Hong Kong: Expected to reopen in July, the stylish lifestyle hotel will be completely transformed with a mid-century modern aesthetic. Creating a distinct and uniquely transformative environment, the hotel’s design will emphasize local natural materials contrasted with darker tactile design features that nod to the local culture. Set against the backdrop of the picturesque Pok Fu Lam Reservoir and Victoria Peak, the hotel will be relaunched as a seaside destination that invites locals and travelers to discover and savor life in style.
- Le Meridien Bangkok: Located in the Silom business district of the Thai capital, the hotel is scheduled to complete its full renovation this month. The redesigned rooms are infused with the essence of Thai culture wrapped in furnishings and features tailored to the lifestyles of today’s international travelers. Sheltered under elegant cream canopies, the spacious rooms restore a sense of calm through muted tones, minimalist décor, and well-planned spaciousness. Additionally, the hotel’s food and beverage experience will receive enhancements including a new outdoor area in the lobby lounge, Latitude 13; a new social gathering bar called Tempo Bar, whose design is inspired by the rhythm of the Bangkok skyline and the traditional golden curves of the city’s great temples; and a new Memphis BBQ specialty restaurant.
- Le Meridien Ra Beach Hotel & Spa: Originally built in 1929 and located in Tarragona, the property completed a complete renovation in 2018 and has been restored into a hotel with one of the largest spas in Spain. A sanctuary for well-being, it was built next to the golden beach of San Salvador to capture the benefits of the sunny climate and the healing properties of the nutrient-rich sea. The natural landscape surrounding the area is honored both by the hotel’s luxurious outdoor spaces, as well as unconventionally through a distinctive modern touch: IMMEXRa. A multi-sensory meeting room, this space revolutionizes traditional event design to fuel the imagination. Creativity and innovation come together with a 360º projection and an adjustable scent system to create immersive bespoke experiences that transform any event into a multi-sensory journey.
- Le Meridien Mauritius: Beautifully located by the sandy Pointe aux Piments beach on the northwest coast of Mauritius, the new oceanfront resort design, completed in April, is a nod to the island’s rich heritage showcasing local, multicultural artwork and sensory experiences, creating an invigorating environment and hotspot for art lovers and travelers from every continent in search of tropical inspiration. The timeless elegant design draws from the brand’s roots in the glamorous halcyon days of travel and is inspired by the resorts that surround the tropical landscape. Modern, minimalist rooms seamlessly transition from the outdoors in with hints of cream and blue that complement locally themed fabrics and custom headboards that reflect rustic, locally sourced materials in Mauritius.
Looking ahead, the brand expects additional branded hotels such as Le Meridien New Orleans Y Le Meridien Tampa, the courthouse to complete the renovations next year.
